Simply visit the Register as a Mentor page on www.simentors.org and complete the online form. You’ll be guided through:

1. Application and profile submission

3. Verification and onboarding
   

First supervision or training session

Once approved, you’ll receive your SIMe Mentor ID and listing on the National Register.

Any adult aged 21 and above with relevant experience, values, and interest in mentoring may apply.

This includes professionals from education, business, social services, healthcare, wellness, and leadership fields.

Applicants must agree to the SIMe Code of Conduct, complete the mentor onboarding process, and participate in periodic supervision or development sessions.

Registered SIMe mentors enjoy:

• Official recognition as a nationally registered mentor.

• Inclusion in the SIMe National Register, allowing public and institutional engagement opportunities.
  

• Supervision and ethics support through mentor circles and advisory panels.

Mentors are not left alone after registration. SIMe provides:

• Regular group supervision led by senior mentors and certified supervisors.
  

• Online and in-person training sessions for skill upgrading.
  

• Access to mentoring tools, templates, and digital dashboards to monitor progress.
  

• Well-being support for mentors managing complex or emotionally demanding cases.
  

Guidance from the Mentoring Ethics Committee for ethical clarity or conflict resolution.

SIMe enforces a zero-tolerance policy on unethical conduct.

Mentors must adhere to strict boundaries, maintain confidentiality, and report potential risks immediately.

SIMe provides clear grievance channels for mentees and institutions, and any breach of conduct triggers review by the Mentoring Ethics Committee, which may recommend retraining, suspension, or removal from the registry.

SIMe maintains a transparent Ethics and Grievance process.

You may submit your concern confidentially via email or the online report form.

Our Mentoring Ethics Committee reviews every case carefully and follows fair procedures, ensuring protection for both mentee and mentor while maintaining accountability and learning.

Every mentor under SIMe undergoes:

1. Verification of credentials and references.
   

2. Initial onboarding training and orientation.
   

3. Annual ethics declaration and renewal.
   

4. Supervision or peer review sessions.
   

Continuous learning requirements to maintain active registration.
